Productivity rant

Guys, there's nothing shiny about productivity, learning, growing and pushing yourself to the limits. It's always a mess. And it should be. Otherwise it would just be called a normal routine. There's nothing exceptional about that. Great things happen with some amount of bearable pain and absence of comfort which one should accept. Just like in the gym - in order to grow, you have to put some damage on your muscles. Exceeding your potential is not about keeping a neat little bullet journal with rainbows or some fancy notion-todoist-evernote-whatever-bullshit setup. Don't get me wrong, I use tools too. But guys, this productivity shit, everything-is-unicorns-and-rainbows, everything-is-oooommmm, mindfulness, hygge, pouring-fancy-coffee-out-of-a-fancy-pot-in-a-fancy-cup etc. should fu****g STOP! Things are tough. If things like these truly make you more productive and make you do more work and be a greater human, than fine, do them. But please, stop bragging about productivity, hidden behind the excuse that you're just sharing what's working for you. Nobody ain't did shit by handwriting September in their notebook for 15 minutes that day and drawing perfect squares bellow it. It's. A. Waste. Of. Time. And the worst thing is that this makes you feel great.

Work is required. Nothing, repeat - nothing - can beat hard work. No matter how beautiful you've written September in your notebook.
